Spice Market Restaurant
is the premier restaurant in the resort.
Located in the main resort complex, it is
built of timber with rugged wooden beam
ceilings, ceiling fans and subtle lighting.
Along its walls are small alcoves with antique
handicrafts and a variety of spices in jars,
showing off Malaysia's rich culture.
New designs for furniture & fittings
and natural material such as mengkuang or
pandanaus woven mats were recently introduced
to enhance further Meritus Pelangi's kampung or
village concept. It is spacious, luxuriously
casual and relaxing.
It serves great choices of local food from
Malay, Chinese and Indian cuisines as well
as international cuisine for breakfast,
lunch and dinner. A nightly international
buffet dinner is also available for added
choice. Food and beverage promotions are
also held with specialties served during
festive seasons such as Chinese New Year,
Hari Raya Puasa, Easter, National Day, Deepavali
and Christmas.
The restaurant seats 125 persons inside and 100 at the bougainvillea filled open-air terrace.
